I have a l3540 with Hydrostatic drive and love it but if it runs for more than an hour it starts loosing power and will eventually stop moving. I just got it back from the dealer for service and they found nothing wrong but it continues to happen. The only code I show is a service interval message, which is odd as the tractor was serviced less than 5 hours ago. Any Ideas.

How many hours?

Do you have a PTO powered implement?

What is the Serial Number as there is 2 different runs of that model.

Sounds like you might have either an air infiltration issue, HST pressure issue or a clutch issue.

If it's air or HST issues then A PTO powered implement will keep moving right along where if it's a clutch issue it will slow to a stop with the tractor slowing to a stop.

The service interval is typically not an error code but to inform maintenance may be needed. It is up to the user to reset so the timer zeros out. I’m guessing they forgot to reset when in for service.

When you say loses power are you describing the engine or drivetrain as in something is slipping?
