There seem to be a number of folks who make 2" towing receivers designed to bolt directly onto BX series tractors, either front or rear.

Does anyone know of a similar product that will fit an MX?

Or any other way, short of a 3 point hitch receiver, to easily mount a 2" ball on an MX either front or rear?

Thanks!

Doesn't the MX come with a drawbar that you could simply bolt on a ball? You may need to look for a ball with the correct size bolt or drill out the drawbar to accept a ball.

My MX5800 came with a draw bar with multiple holes for receiver balls. Unless you want the ease of one being on the three point then you would need to buy aftermarket.

You can make a 2" receiver that will bolt or pin onto the drawbar, then you will have the option to put on whatever you want whenever you want. ;)

Best to bolt a hitch ball to the swinging drawbar rather than a three point mounted device.

If using a three point mounted receiver, you must have drawbar stays to prevent the hitch from raising up when descending grades. When the receiver is forced up under an overhauling load, the hitch can uncouple allowing the trailer tongue to impale the operator. Folks have been killed in this way.
