Two weeks ago, my L3301 started an oil leak, leaking on the garage floor in front of the front axle of my L3301.
I am not sure where the oil is coming from, but I believe it is at the HST oil cooler.
I will remove the battery tomorrow, weather permitting to inspect the oil lines.
Anyone else suffered this type leak?

I have repaired several of them, usually, just need to tighten the clamps. A couple have had cracked hoses.

I am not sure but I think the way to get to the leak is by removing the battery, is that correct?
At any rate that is where I will start, unless you have better directions.

I removed the battery and cleaned the oil off the battery and the platform and tighten the clamp on the HST cooler hose.

Did tightening the clamps solve the issue?

Small oil leaks are best found by cleaning every suspect leak point up VERY well (squeaky clean). Then after you've cleaned it 4011teen times, grab a can of spray foot powder and spray where you think it might be leaking from. You'll need to use the stuff that turns white. Then start/run the tractor a little. The leak will show up a lot easier using the foot powder.

Another way to find pesky leaks is by using UV dye in the oil and then use a UV light to locate it. But that is more expensive and a little more involved.

I am having the same issue. I have puddling oil on my battery tray. L3901 with 150 hours... will remove the battery sometime this week to investigate.
