My local dealer suggested calling the next.closest two, as they do have 2650's in stock. A nice thing to do.

SDT, one of these dealers has multiple 3350s with few hours and loaders for 16500 or so. I assume you would say a 3350 run at proper rpm and regen cycles is totally a safe bet. My local dealers and I talked about 3350 problems once. They claimed with the newest software,if the tractor is run properly there is no problem in our warm climate.
Not true, Ray.

Regen issues remain with the reformer equipped mechanically injected engine used in the B3350 even with all latest updates.

This is exactly why the new common rail injected LX3310 has been introduced.

If anybody is interested in B2650's, Messick's has 11 of them (with and without cabs) sitting on their Elizabethtown, Pa lot (they have 5 locations). 11- B2650's, 2- B2601's, 1- B2301, and 15 BX's (23S, 1880, 2380, 2680). Endless Orange everywhere you look ***8230; It's like a GIANT TOY STORE ! :D

One of those 2650’s has my name on it...

I just have to wait a few months until R14’s arrive!

FWIW our 3350 has been flawless but we use it exclusively with PTO driven implements 90% of the time, so it gets worked. Trencher (mainly) and tiller in the spring/summer/fall, snowblower in winter.
Our 2650 has the backhoe mounted on it, thats our go to for FEL work. LX or B 26 horse versions you can't go wrong. I thought neil messick said in his video Kubota had to stretch out the higher horsepower version (33is hp) of the LX to get the new engine and emissions setup to fit. Might be a negative for some folks. When operating, the extra power of the 33 over the 26 is very apparent, and IMO 33hp is the sweet spot for this size tractor, expecially the cab versions.

It's definitely not fixed. But the problems were worst in cold climates, and if the tractor was used at low revs. So you'd have lower likelihood of issues if you are in a warm climate, and if you use the tractor at high revs, which you generally should do with any emissions controlled equipment I believe.

The question is whether the discount they'll give you to move the tractor is enough to be worth the risk that it goes wrong for you. That's probably a question only you can answer. If you were getting a 33hp tractor for the price of a 26hp tractor, that's a pretty big step up. If money's not that tight, and you can afford the 33hp LX, then that's very much a safer bet.

On the B2650 you can still get a 3rd rear remote valve, and choose between 54" pin on or QA bucket and 60" pin on or QA …. on the LX there's no options …. just 54" QA bucket. And like mentioned, self leveling loader option. LX has 7 tire choices ... B2650 has 5.:confused::cool:
the online pricing too has been updated to include a 60” FEL bucket option.
