I have a B29 Kubota with a 60" front mount snow thrower. It pushes snow ahead of the unit until enough weight builds up to enter the box where the rotors chew up the snow. Could this be caused by the angle on the skids? I'm sure the height is ok.
Usually caused by wet snow and/or driving too fast. I try and avoid blowing snow when the temps get near or above freezing. Early mornings are better too.

Also, broken shear bolt that does not fully release but does not turn when snow gets built up. This happened to me when the factory paint on the first bolt broke. Auger looked like it was spinning when not under load. Loaded, no go.
