It this model. I placed the kerfs inside as I think they allow the material to bend

See you asked that question on Amazon and I answered you kerf's go down, how the roof curves across the stays.

Forget the assembly instructions, just follow the picture on the front page. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble it and mount the attachment to the roll bar.

Nice top, had it 3 years now. I do suggest stainless fender washers between the fasteners and the outside of the roof. Makes tightening them easier and less roof smash.

Shiny down. Have some clamps handy to help bend things around when attaching the ribs

I angle mine down just a bit so if I get caught in the rain, it runs off the front.

Do they only shade your head? aren't they too high? unless it's high noon? Is there a shade/roof that can mount lower, between the ROPS posts (adjustable clamp height) ? Seem like they might not do too well mid morning and mid to late afternoon. I would like to have one but not if its too high for most of the day. Your thoughts ?

I find the height to be good any time of day. If you want more coverage than you may need a cab with tint to cut down sun. Depending on the time of day, your legs get sun but your upper body is usually in the shade
