I have an old 295dt four wheel drive front tires are 7-16 . I mow a field full of hawthorn shrubs plus use the loader and forks. I would love to go to an 8 ply tire from the 6 but no one make the 7-16 in 8 ply. The diameter of the 8-16 is about 1.5 inch difference. I am assuming that beyond the limit built into the tractor but thought I would ask if anyone has tried it or what anyone has done to get to a puncture resistant, high weight capacity tire.
