I have a G6200 HST serial # 33808.

The inner most belt got torn up and I noticed that the tension pulley was not exactly lined up. The arm was a bit worn so I replaced both the arm and the pulley but this did not help at all as that inner belt is obviously wanting to ride half off the rear of the pulley and I can't figure out why. The lower pulley has a new Boss and is on correctly. The engine mount bushing are in good shape and it doesn't look like it's moved.

Anybody seen this before? What am I not seeing? Would be hard to believe that the shaft the tension arm rides on is bent, and the new arm fits snugly.

See link below to a picture which says it all.

It is quite possible for the stud that the engagement arm and pulley attach to to bend. I have the same unit and had my idler on my mower deck bend which I was able to remedy with heat and persuasion. But it also appears that you may have the wrong part as that is severely out of adjustment. I would make sure that you installed the correct part.

North I.... picture link should work fine.
Go back and look at the original post, there is no link for anyone but you to see.
Being a Mod I can see things that no one else can, like the link that was hidden. ;)

Are you not seeing that in your first post we see nothing, not a picture or a link, just the words "See link below to a picture which says it all.", ?
look at the screen shot I posted.
That is why I reposted the hidden link.

Here is what your belts and pulleys are suppose to look like. Thought this might help.

Thank you for the feedback and photo of how it's supposed to look. I'm going ot dig into this later today and I'm starting to agree that it might be the wrong part as it is further out of alignment then it was before.
