Hi and Thanks
I have a BX1870 with 16 x 7.50 x x 8 4ply tires on now.
In Canada they are $80 dollars each and $40 shipping. My question is
I can get 16 x 6.50 x 8 4 ply for $ 36 dollars each. Will these tires fit my Rim???

You can't change the tire size that much as you will damage the 4wd.
So simple answer is no they won't work. ;)

That's a shock as you can get them in the US for $16.97, you close enough to the border, I toss a couple over to ya! :D

How will the 4x4 be damaged if they are both 16" tall? It appears from tire size only the section width is different. Then again I might have misread the info...

If you look at the 2 tires side by side you would see, the RC changes as the width changes, same with any tire, it's not a normal height equals Rolling Circumference formula. ;)

Since he didn’t post the tire make there is no way to confirm if the rolling circumference changes or not based on manufacturing specifications. I agree it is a general statement they will be different but one can not say it will not work without more info.

This is true because different tire sizes, styles, and different tire manufactures all follow different standards.
