May I ask why? Im down to the L3301, Massey 1734e and Deere 3032e. One kubota dealer said Turfs no problem ( lots of yard work ) Deere is reluctant to sell turfs and Massey will sell turfs no problem. Im uneasy about R4s on my lawn...

Hello I am looking to buy a set of turf tires and wheels to fit on my L3301:)
ALR8893A $207.00 each
ALR8804A $428.00 each

The best deals I've found by far on tire packages are from the dealer's Wholegoods price.

Above is the numbers and prices for the turf packages (tires and rims) that fit the L3301.

Rears size is 13.6-16
Fronts size 24x8.50-14

Good luck

I have turfs, they are great in anything that isn't "wet". They don't do any damage on my lawn unless I drive over the same spot 5 times when it's soaking wet (inches of rain).

And by wet I mean: on wet clay, wet snow, wet sand (ok traction but still same result) the treads pack solid and do not shed unless you go super fast on dry land.

I had about 1300lbs in the bucket once and tried to go up a gradual (2% )clay slope that had been soaked with about an inch of rain in the last 24 hours. I spun and slid backwards/sideways before getting just enough momentum to get up the hill will spinning.

The R1 tires I have now, are a little too harsh on my lawn especially when the grass is wet and during the winter months.:eek::eek:

"Ouch, I did not know they would be that much. Although, that's for tire and rim, could be a fair price, but a tad bit more than I am willing to pay at the time. I could probably get a lawn roller a lot cheaper and pull it with one of my smaller tractors to roll out the winkles from the L3301's R1 tire tracks. ;)

Maybe so. I've got an L3800 with R4's.
I downloaded the Wholegoods price list and that's what it states for turfs for both of our tractors.
It's tires and rims mounted.
You could always see if anyone is unhappy with their tires and maybe trade you.
Either way, good luck!

I had the problem with my John Deere 318 spinning and ripping up the lawn with turf tires, until I put on AG tires. However, the little 318 is not heavy enough to do much damage, especially if you drive careful, and not hot rod around the yard. :D

Thanks Rokee95, but my plans were to keep my R1 tires for snow removal and road work, and use the turfs during the summer.

Air pressure might be too high. I leave mine 3-4 pounds below recommended on the rear and that greatly increases traction.

Your welcome.
I've got the same issue, but in reverse order.
I wish I had a set of R1's for the winter.
The R4's aren't great at all in snow and ice.
It is just as expensive to add a set of R1's as it is for turfs, so I'm debating on tire grooving sipes into my tires to improve the snow traction.
