Rather I rebroke it as it was previously repaired before I bought it I don’t think I can wreck it again but time will tell. I’m $350 lighter in the wallet and I also lost about 50# on the loader lifting gross weight.

Must be a light duty bucket put to hard use! Never seen one close to that condition on that size of tractor.

How did it break the first time? Just thinned out in one spot?

I really don’t know, I purchased the tractor and it was already repaired . But for some reason it slip all the way down the middle. It was repaired using 1/8 steel that had been heated and roll in to place. That’s where it split again because of the heating??? I was lifting trees that I had cut down with pallet forks that attach to the bucket. Move over a 100 trees before it broke :)

Probably the forks that attach to the bucket did it. They are known for bending / breaking buckets. But they do get the job done, and are a lot cheaper than trying to convert a tractor to quick attach.

I think you've made the bucket sufficiently strong for clamp on forks now though!

I believe that something else will break before the bucket, which might be a bad thing:eek:
