Back blade mod?

saw below image elsewhere...... got me thinking.... you think that load binder he used to pivot the hole thing could be used similarly to pivot the blade itself while also acting as a replacement for the pin??? or would it not stand up to the torture?

As typical the hole on used and abused back blades the pin hole is hollowed out anyway and needs welded and rebored on mine. (or drilled out and sleeve welded in)

yes, 'rachet jack' not 'load binder'. Binders usually have grab hooks for chains..

you'll get a good workout though ! A zillion rachets to move the blade where you need it to be......
Oddly, only the JD unit has the IMPORTANT spec listed , the force(weight) it can hold.

I had to get a longer top link when I install my Pat's quick hitch. I used the original Kubota top link to make an adjuster like that for my york rake.
