I have a Z123S with roughly 220ish hours. The other day I was mowing and stopped to talk to someone. When I cranked it back up I noticed the left hand control bar was very loose. It now has a lot of play and is very shaky unlike my right hand control bar which is very tight. Any ideas on how to fix this or what might be wrong?

While I was waiting for a reply I just went ahead and dug into it. Sure enough the linkage was very loose. Thanks for the reply.. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see if I fixed it even though it seems to be fixed.

There is a recall on a lot of the ZG123's. Not on the steering linkage, but on a bunch of other stuff. Call dealer with your serial number, ask them if they have time to do it. It'd be worth doing, for longevity and reliability's sake.
