B7100HST owners, I need some help! I have a 1983 B7100HST that I’m trying to mount a RC60-71B mower on. Things were going well until I discovered that the mounting holes for the mid hanger bracket aren’t in the right place for the type of mower linkage I have. The holes on the tractor appear to be for the parallelogram type lift and the RC60-71B that I have uses trailing arm type lift. What I’ve ended up with is the mounting holes are too far back on the transmission tunnel and they are on the face of the tunnel. What I need is to have the holes further forward (about 4”) and built out from the tunnel (about 2”). So here’s where you can help. Could you measure your B7100 where the mounting holes are located in relation to the bolts that hold the front mount or some other landmark and how far they extend out from the transmission tunnel? With this info I’ll fabricate up a new set of brackets and be ready mow. Thanks!

Aw, man, I got so excited when I saw the title! But low and behold, I don't have a belly mower! If you don't get any info, which I'm sure that you will, I can go to my local dealer- I know that they have two 7100's there with belly mowers.

I'm looking for the bolt locations on the tractor not the mower. Look at the attached photo at the diagonal orange mount just in front of the brake peddles. That is the bracket that I need the location for. The mounting holes are in the transmission tunnel just behind the bell housing. Thanks

I will get some photos in the morning with measurements, and post them.

THANKS!!! Those photos and dimensions are just what I need. I do need one more dimension. How far out from the tunnel to the face of the mount? It looks like 1.5" to 2" in the photos. Thanks again for the help.

The brackets are 2 1/4" deep. They are both the same, and one corner on each is notched for the curve of the bell housing.

Thanks Hodge! That was the last piece in the puzzle. A piece of 3" square tube cut in half and trimmed a little will do the trick. By the way you have quite the fleet. Thanks again! Will be mowing by the weekend.
