In our hedge we had the bark beetle. Three trees we had already lost and now holes in the hedge, so we decided to cut down the hedge:

For the remaining stubs I rented a grinder for one day. Price 160€/$200.

To level the dirt I ordered 16cbm/560cbft of topsoil and used Kuno again to arrange it. Took me 2 hours, but frankly you do not really see a big difference...
While I was in the garden and trimmed the trees for spring, I decided to have a big X.
After they will be growen together, maybe I will later place a treasure in between...
