Hi Y'all,
Newbie to this site but not to Kubota!
My current orange is a B26 and a kx 040
I've owned a B21,L 4400 and a Grand L 4240

I'm having steering issues with my B26. After it warms up it stops turning left. The steering wheel spins left freely If I take the load off it will turn left and at times return to normal No issues turning right. Actual steering is normal so I'm wondering if a seal or O ring is going bad somewhere in the system. Thanks for any help!

How many hours on the machine?

I don't know if the hydraulic cylinder that powers the steering on a B26 is built similarly, but I had a very similar issue on my BX23. The o-rings on the inside of the cylinder on the ram get flat and allow oil to pass by rather than push the ram and turn the wheels. It's a common problem on the BX.

Kubota sold a seal kit for it. I took it apart, replaced all the seals, worked good as new.

I would rebuild the steering cylinder (because it's a cheap rebuild), just to eliminate that possible issue.
Then if it still does it, you'll need to replace the steering controller.
