Does anybody use the BXpanded Under Armour to protect the vulnerable filters on the BX series tractors?

One of the first things I bought as recommended by some good folks on this site. Great for some peace of mind given the stories of fan damage. I also appreciate how easy it is to get on and off as needed.

Get one - might be the best piece of add on you buy.

Ask those who had to replace their HST fan!:D;)

On order. Now on my unit the fan is protected pretty good, something would have to get in there at a very precise low angle. The filters are a totally different story! I guess Kubota does not think this tractor would be used in the bush.

You can also check out The Shorts web store.
They make a number of mods for SCUT and CUT Kubotas.

One of the first things I added to my 2380. I don't have a mmm, so I think it's especially necessary, even more so if you're working in forest/brushy settings.

It's a quality part, easy on & off. Well worth it, IMO.

First thing i ordered. Protect the under belly of my BX25D. Also installed 2" spacers. Pricey but good quality.

I have the BxPanded version.

Bro-tek has a great one also, in 2 parts..

Looked at both real hard, ended up with the BxPanded version. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Absolutely a good product and extremely easy to get on and off. Nice heavy gauge and covers the vulnerable fan and filter plus other undercarriage lines. One of the first add-ons I did when I bought my BX. I had a JD large garden tractor with hydrostat and got a stick lodged in the nylon fan and within seconds it ripped off the blades causing a few days work tearing that thing apart. Otherwise a very expensive thing to have a dealer repair.

The rear skid plate works fine with the drive over MMM. The front skid plate needs to be removed for the MMM. The rear protects the fan.
I’d love to know if the bro-tek works with a drive over mmm.

Awesome, so there are no clearance issues between the drive over subframe and the rear bro-tek skid plate? If that’s the case I need to get one.

No issues whatsoever for me. The rear plate stays on year round. Front plate comes off in the spring when the MMM is added.
