I'm loving the detailed recipes! Keep em coming! Tried the Prime Rib rub on a rump roast and it was great :)
Glad you liked it. My smoker didn't get any love this past week with driving to Boston and back. Got to get my Prime Rib order in with the butcher for Christmas as well

Been chilly and the Mrs. had some oral surgery.....sounds like soup![emoji15]

Left will be chicken tortellini, right will be something beef....not sure how the beef one will end up as far as ingredients. Truly a work in progress.

Oh my, many years ago I cooked for hundreds of people, then 5, now 2.

I hope I made enough....have to make bread or rolls to go with that....[emoji15]

I don’t think you made enough ;). Do you freeze the leftovers for later? We had gumbo last night that I froze the last time I made it, its just a PITA to fill the bags and vacuum seal it.

We don't usually have to freeze stuff; we still eat it pretty quick for just the 2 of us. Gives us lunches and dinners.

I'm good for a quart of the chicken tortellini, easy each trip.

We don't cook much during the week for good reason.:)

I made scalloped potatoes from a recipe that popped up in my news feed, truly heart attack on a plate, but really good, 1/4 lb butter, 1 cup of whipping cream, 1 cup of milk, small onion, couple garlic cloves, salt and pepper, parsley, 2 lbs of potatoes, simmer until tender then put in a casserole dish and cover with 1/2 cup of parmesan and cook at 400 until browned.

Gosh - add sheep’s excellent sounding scalloped potatoes to Ford’s beef and broccoli.....there would definitely be a nap after that...

We’re making Giambotte.

Italian Oven-Roasted chicken pieces with sausage, potatoes, peppers, onions, etc.

I’ll post some pictures later (if it looks good...[emoji15]).

Looks good so far.... just S&P, some oregano, garlic, and I like to add some Italian salad dressing and a little white wine.

We just use legs and thighs....cheap and easy.
