I have a new to me early 80s 7100 4wd man trans with a loader and backhoe. I noticed an intermittent awful sound and figured out it happened when the lift lever beneath the seat became engaged when turning the seat to operate the backhoe.
I intend to remove the backhoe to hook up a post hole digger, but the lift does not work.
Any idea on the problem in the lift mechanism? Used parts? New Parts?
Other than that it is a workhorse. Already cleared a quarter of an acre and dug 200 feet of trench.
