Has anyone ever done or seen this done? I’m looking to possibly mount a quick attach off a 3 point for picking up heavy boulders and rocks. Is this possible? I’d think anything is, but I have yet to see it.... I see where there is a “mechanism” that allows for quick”er” attaching, but not the actual one with the handles that lock down into the implement.

What are your thoughts? Doable? What is the comparison ratio of a fel vs 3 point as far as lifting capacity?

Thanks!

I made a 'carryall' for my A-C D-14 back in '99, using 48" forklift forks. It'll get under BIG logs and carry them. Really big ones give me 'power steering' ! Big ones are 1200-1600#... BTW a cubic foot of 'rock' is about 150#, more or less...

Buy a set of pallet forks that can be used on the 3 point hitch. Add a hydraulic top link so can get some down angle to the forks to get under the rock, tilt up to carry said rock. You should be able to carry some good sized rocks. The store bought carryalls that I have seen are not stout enough to carry a heavy load.

Everything attachments has a good looking set. Long forks to get under the rock and rated to 3000 lbs. If you have the ability you could adapt the FEL forks. Are they quick attach? If so they make a quick attach to fit on the 3 point hitch so you could use your FEL forks.
