The one on mine is starting to squeak, I looked at the shop manuals and can't even find a part number. I will appreciate if someone has a part number or a way to service it.

Thanks.

Just remove the idler assembly and remove the snap ring that holds the bearing in. Take the bearing out and get a new one at your local auto parts store. I think it***8217;s a 6203 or 6204 sealed bearing.

The listing says it's for a pair of 6203 bearings (technically, they show the 6203-2RS). One of the most common sizes in existence, used for everything from fan belt idler pulleys to motorcycle wheels to well water pumps. Should be available from any industrial supply house, bearing supply, seal supply, farm supply or any half-ways decent hardware store. For $5 a piece -- and that's five Canadian dollars.

Did you ask for a 6203 or 62032RS which would be a bearing with seals on both sides.

A professional bearing supplier would have offered you the sealed bearing.
If they did not have it,l they could have it by the next morning.

Leave the dynamo alone. Most run forever without problems.
