i removed the pushrods on my b71hhst, and di not take any pics, because I do have a service manual and Kubota part diagrams.
I have the 6 pushrods and 6 caps. in all diagrams they do not show the caps. can anyone show me whre the caps go? they look like they go at the bottom of the pushrods against the lifters. But how do they stay on the pushrod while installing?

Thanks

Good morning ttfo.
I'm not 100% certain that this is proper but I've gone thru the same process with a similar machine.

Do the caps have holes in the sides near the bottom?
The caps should sit under the pushrods as you suggested.

But how do they stay on the pushrod while installing?
The push rods sit in the cups.
I believe they may actually be magnetic, mine were.

On a D750 The cups or caps go on top of the valve stems, not the push rods.

Attached is a picture of my head from above.
The push rods are beneath the 4 slotted bolts at the top of the picture.
The cups fit under the push rods, I wish I had a better picture.
One end of my push rods are magnetic.

Sorry bud, I thought the set up would be similar.
