That's not an easy fill, they never made PS for the B8200's. :(

Not to cause an argument- However about 5 years ago I went to look at a B8200 for sale. It had factory power steering. It was one of the old style that replaced the drag link with a hydraulic cylinder with a control valve built on the side. Here is an old post that references factory option power steering.http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=552
The kit is still shown on the kubota parts website B9182

No Argument here, I did forget that they had made one of those kits for that tractor.
Even though I would call them assist units opposed to full power steering units.

As noted in the original post (2009), even back then, the original unit was no longer available, and since that post the second aftermarket unit is no longer available either.
I've seen some of these assist units years ago, but haven't seen any new ones since then.

I had one of the Kubota assist units on my B8200. It worked fine for a while, but when problems started I put it aside. It had an internal valve and responded according to the pressure caused by the turning of the steering wheel.

I eventually bought the steering valve, cylinder, steering shaft, steering wheel, hoses (the whole unit) from a Toro mower. It took a bit of fore-though and fabrication, but it worked without any problems... and still is.

I had to cut some of the metal with my plasma cutter to set the valve down in, but was only a little bit.

I bought the components from one guy on Ebay for like $225. He parted out mower in Florida.

I'd suggest looking for something similar, maybe one of John Deere's bigger lawn mowers. They have power steering.

Thank you gentlemen for responding. I've seen quite a few over the years. I sure would like to find one. Hopefully I'll find someone is parting one out.

so far I'm interested in the Hoye power steering DIY kit. anything that helps the steering would be a plus. right now it is really hard to turn with nothing even in the bucket. I saw some pictures on a link of this unit installed and it looks pretty simple with just the 2 lines going over to the hydraulic block on the right side . thanks for any feedback on this.
