Hello all longtime lurker first time poster. I have a 1974 B7100D that I purchased partially dissembled. The former owner believed that the gears inside were falling apart due to his cursory inspection after pulling and opening the transmission. well turned out that it was a bearing that had exploded. So I made the repair and I am in the process of putting it all back together and I have a part that I cannot Identify. I am hoping that someone here knows where it goes and what it is. This is the link to the picture. thanks for your help!

That is a thrust washer. It probably came from one end of a gear shaft -- something that rotates against something that doesn't. The little divots are to ensure oil splashing around in the gear box can get in there.

Thanks for the input. These are the pics of the transmission. In the pictures I put the washer on the only shaft it fits on unless it goes behind the gears. Any additional input would be very appreciated.
