I finally got round to getting new wheels made for the front of the B7200D. The standard 12" rims only accept 6-12 agri tyres. I wanted to fit wider tyres on the front which would help with loader work. I got new rims manufactured that fit 23x8.50-12 tyres. They work well and match the 33x12.50-15 agri tyres on the back.

Looks great! I just purchased a 88' B7200 in mint condition! I want to add AG tires and have ran into the same problem. How much did that setup cost up? How much for the rims? Does that throw off the angles when running 4x4?

Hi Hooverscon, I got the wheels made as a 12" version of the 10" turf wheels that were on the tractor. I did have to reduce the turning angle (adjusted the stops out on the axle) to prevent the tyres clashing with the tractor frame because of the width. It increased the turning circle a bit but it has not caused me any problems so far. I paid $270 to get the two front wheels made, and $190 for the pair of tyres. I used the original 15" turf wheels for the back and managed to find 33x12.50-15 agri tyres to fit them. These have the exact same rolling circumference as the stock 9.5-16 agri tyres that are normally fitted on the rear. The 23x8.50-12 tyres have the exact same rolling circumference as the stock 6-12 tyres normally fitted on the front. I did fit an aftermarket power steering cylinder to help as the steering is quite heavy with the wide tyres and the loader fitted. Let me know if you want any further info or photos.

Hey Duff - thanks for the reply. Do I only have to worry about the front wheels then? Did you have to go to a metal fab shop for the rims?

Hi Hooverscon, yes I had to get the front wheels made because I couldn't find any pre made ones to fit. I was able to find the agri tyres to fit the 15 inch rims on the back to give me the width and maintain rolling circumference

Can you share some info on the power steering you installed? An photos of that install?

I fitted a power steering when I was upgrading the loader. For the loader upgrade I installed a separate hydraulic pump driven off the crank shaft pulley on the front of the engine. When I was ordering the pump I went for a tandem pump set up and got a smaller separate pump fitted to operate the power steering cylinder. The power steering cylinder is a standard retro fit option for larger tractors with the control valve built in, I just manufactured mounts to make it fit. I modified the steering rod so that it acts on the control valve of the cylinder. This setup is very similar the the Kubota standard solution, but only cost about $400 as opposed to the $2000 for the Kubota system.
