Hello gentlemen,

I just got done putting a new clutch in my l1500dt. She is purring like a kitten, and so fun to work with.
I am in the process of making a "counter-weight" for it to increase the weight I can put in the bucket without making her tip.
Currently, I am only aware of how to make my hitch hydraulics go up. I have not figured out how to make them go down, and need to do so in order to attach the counterweights to the draw bar.
Any help you can give me in trouble shooting how to low the hitch hydraulics would sure be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

they go down by gravity.
very few tractors have 3pt's with power down.

Not familiar with your model, but most of these tractors have and adjustable rotary control (sometime under the seat) that adjusts the drop rate from max to zero. If yours is a zero, no drop at all.
