Having trouble deciding which B series would be the right tractor for me, the 3200 or 3000. I found that the treadel style HST on the 3000 was a lot easier to work than the 3200. Does the 3200 just take getting used to? Then there is the cab issue I live in MN and with the exception of last winter it snows a little bit more than a lot here and our new house has a 3/8 mile drive? 3200 and 3000 owners opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty sure they are close to the same tractor the 3200 is the lariat model and the 3000 is the loaded king ranch edition big difference in price!!!

I bought a B3000 in December and am very pleased with it. Load the tires and think about the options that would be helpful for you. Feel free to call me at home until 10pm CST if you need more information. The number is 203-743-7122. Take care, Ray

Thanks Ray I might take you up on that say monday?
Did you consider any of the other B series w/out a cab?
Or even moving up to an L w/out a cab?
My wife says I am" crazy" why would you want to get up at 3:30 AM to clear the driveway and sit in the cold.
My local Kubota dealer says he sells quite a few of these every year to commercial snow removal companies so the cab must work good.

I had an L4610 with airconditioned cab that I used for snow removal in a mountain subdivision for 6 years before I quit. The guys who took over for me had tractors and blowers with no cab and one had a bobcat w/blower. They each lasted one winter. Any significant amount of snow removal is brutal without a cab. Also, the airconditioning is really nice on those hot/humid days in the summer. I sold the L4610 and downsized to a B3200 this year.....love the little tractor but do miss the airconditioning when mowing pastures in 90+ heat. I did put a fiberglass roof over the cab.....it helps but it's nothing like the aircon I had in the L4610........not to mention the radio!!!

7 k is a lot for comfort, but like you said keeps ya cool in the summer, I do have a long driveway and being from CA don't have a lot of experience blowing snow but it would stand to reason not all the snow will blow away from me.

Thanks Triple R, sounds like the HSDCC is the loaded version, probably worth it, some of the feature would make things a lot nicer. There isnt an advantage to the 1/4 inching three point is there?

No, it is cheaper to make the quarter inching making it possible to offer a lower priced unit for those who want a cab, but want to save some money.

On a quarter inching valve, over time, an implement will drop down and need to be "bumped up" to maintain height. My BX2660 has quarter inching as does the B3200 and all B2x20 models. The B2630 and B3030 have position control.

I was born and raised in Muskegon, Mi....joined the military and other than visiting my family have not been back in over 44 years. Settling down in Idaho was one of the best things I've ever done. The population density here is just right with a whole lot of beautiful public land.
