I am looking at purchasing a b7100. It comes with turf tires on it. Is the rim size for turf tires and AG tires the same? or would I need to purchase both tires and rims if I want AGs?

I would assume that the tires are the same size, so the wheel size wouldn't change. Ask your selling dealer if he can order the spare set of tires and wheels as "whole goods" from Kubota. That will save you a lot of money vs. buying them across the parts counter. I wouldn't want to be changing tires on a tractor any more than necessary, so buy the tires and wheels together.

Rims for Ag and turf tires are NOT the same. Turfs are much wider. Searched my manuals, but they only list tire sizes for the Ag tires. Maybe someone with turfs can jump in here.

FYI: The B7100 is a 30 year old tractor, not much dealer interaction going on and certainly no "whole goods" options.

Most Ag (R1's) / turf (R3's) and even Industrial tires (R4's, changes require rim changes, as they AG's are larger diameter and narrower width and the turf rims will be smaller diameter and wider width, Industrials sometimes match Turfs for diameter and width, and that goes for fronts and rears. ;)

I was looking at a few 8-16 rear tires for the b7100. Will deep lug AG tires still be able to fit the b7100 (if I buy one with AG tires on it already)?

Thanks for the help guys... I almost dished out some money for a b7100 with turfs on it. The hunt continues

On the rear of a B6100 or B7100 you can use a 16" truck tire with the tread of your choice to replace an Ag tire if you have 2 wheel drive.

Firestone 12.5Lx15 Power implement 8 ply tires work great on the turf wheels been running them the last four years and love them!!! Running 23x10;50-12 Carlisle Tru Power on the fronts. Great set up for my use which is mowing and brush cutting, big fat tires don't hardly make ruts even when very wet. Tractor is happy with the set up.
