Hi everyone,

I'm new to the thread and new to tractors. I have made the decision to get a 2019 L3301. But I have no idea how much wiggle room there is in negotiating on a new tractor. I'm in central California. If anyone can chime in on my dealer quote I'd love to hear your opinion...

L3301HST 4WD
LA525 loader with 66" quick attach bucket
R4 tires
2 Valve top and tilt installed
quik hitch
landpride box scraper with manual rippers (BB1260)
Landpride pallet frame and forks (PFL1242)

Total PRE-tax = $28,025

Shall I accept or shall I negotiate? Thank you all in advance for your opinion.

You question: "Shall I accept or shall I negotiate?" can only truly be answered if you get the exact same tractor and attachments quoted from another dealer in your vicinity. Then you can compare and maybe even negotiate between the two.

Others may say what they paid, but different regions, dealers, ect. all vary.

D2 Cat has good advice. Several folks have seen significant variation between dealers.

You can also try going to https://www.kubotausa.com/ and using their "Build" section, and build the same tractor. You may have to "build" the tractor and loader, then add for your T&T, QH, BB, etc. Will give you an idea if your quote is in the ball park of MSRP.

Several years ago, guys were often looking at MSRP minus 10%. Doesn't seem to be as common lately. Couple have even seen MSRP +. All the more reason to follow 'Cat's advice and go to a couple dealers if possible.

Good luck!

I got my L3301 last year, and I would be all over the $28+ thousand for the package you quoted. Negotiate, of course, but it seems to me they are being fair.
