Does anyone know what the lifting capacity is on the quick hitch for the snow blade? I was thinking of maybe doing kind of like a pallett fork kind of set up for lifting logs so I dont have to bend over as far to cut them. Any ideas?

You lost me skeets, I use my forks all the time for cutting firewood. My neighbor showed me how he does it with his Bobcat and gave me a set of his old forks to use and boy does that make it easier to cut up logs. I thought I had some pictures but no, I'll have to take some next time I do that.

I bought a "big bale mover" from tractor supply fits onto my quick hitch on 3 point you can put any number of logs on lift it and cut away

Well I dont have an EL for my little beast but I do have the push/snow blade. There is only 1 cylinder, and while it will lift the front end of the tractor with the down pressure and lift the blade with the up pressure, I was wondering how far I could go with this by removing the blade and doing something to lift logs with thats all

Skeets, how about having someone fabing up a couple "L" shaped arms with a hook on the top that can be attached over the top of your blade? Then you leave the blade on, and can manually attach and remove the "forks".

Here's a CAD drawing of what I'm trying to explain.

You may need a bolt welded to the top of the plow to secure the forks.

That front mount Quick hitch is not very strong and any weight out a distance would do some funny, possible really bad things to the hitch.

You would be far better of getting a set of three point mounted forks to do the job.

OK.... whose 'quick hitch' and tractor ? Seems to me the mfr of the QH has to KNOW the numbers......
At the very least 3X weight of blade would sound 'reasonable'...
