So I ordered a new B2650 with the 72" MMM, an a RCR1260 rotary for light work around my 10 acres. My yard is 3.64 acres...which is why went with the 72" mid mount . My 48" Cub Cadet was just not cutting it...well, it cuts it quite nicely but takes me hours..

I couldn't find a place for introductions so I put it here...

Looking forward to my itty bitty to arrive. I might add a FEL to it later down the road..

If you honestly think you will want a FEL in the future, you should (IMHO) get it now with the initial sale.

I’ll second this. ^^^^^^^^^ Roll it in with the purchase, they are real handy to have.

I'll third that, even if you don't use the front bucket or pallet forks a lot you'll really appreciate them when you do, not to mention resale value if/when you might sell or trade it. Nevertheless congratulations you're getting a really nice machine.

Agree...I sent a note to my Kubota dealer asking how hard would it be now to add the FEL along with the 3rd valve to my order...

Fingers crossed i didn't delay too long to make up my mind.

Edit: And thanks everyone for that input...

I got my 2013 B2920 as just the tractor, with a 60" MMM and no loader. In 2016, I purchased the Kubota loader for it and installed it myself. But it is not a cheap thing to buy at about $3700.

Typically Kubota offers "implement rebates" when you buy a brand new tractor, and the loader counts as an implement. You might get $500-1000 off, but sometimes you have to buy two implements. Sometimes it's easier to just finance a loader in, especially at zero percent interest.

Either way, great tractor you are getting. Be sure and post pics.

Good move I think you'll find uses for the FEL bucket, pallet forks, and maybe grapple since you went ahead and got the third function!

Yea, and you'll find your wife will also find chores for you to do. Started to go out and mow yesterday, wife was cleaning out one of her flower beds as I went by. "Honey, can you get the tractor and move this mulch?" " And when you get that done , I need some dirt over here". 40 minutes later I started moweing.

Yes, but that's soooo much better than the wife saying "please go get 40 bags of mulch loaded in the truck, and unload it a bag every 3 feet along the flower bed"!!!

That's what I was thinking too...also beats "clean the garage / basement, etc."

And how long would it have taken to do without the FEL? :)

Having owned 11 tractors from 18 to 150 HP my experience is that a FEL on a tractor is THE most important addition to the unit.....
I'm already lining up some chores for the FEL. I have a couple areas on my property with small shrubs and stuff I would like to clear out/dig out.

UPDATE: Dealer has everything in the shop (as of Monday) and are assembling it now...

No idea how long that will take...I'm off tomorrow so I am hoping they call me today to come to the shop and look at it.
