This has become a pretty popular post had no idea when I started it that so many would have names for their cars, trucks, equipment, etc.

Katie Kubota says good afternoon all.

Khaleesi

Figured she's both powerful and beautiful at the same time. :)
Wife rolled her eyes when I told her I took Khaleesi out back today and rode her a while.:eek::eek:

I have never named any equipment...cars, trucks, vans, scooters, motorcycles, atv's, mules, rtv's, none of them. They aren't animals they have no personality and they don't get any names. Although there was a time in my life that everything had multiple names from time to time depending on the situation-usually when I was mad at it.

Reminds me. I was working for a motorcycle dealer at one point and had a guy's bike in for crash damage. The owner would come in almost every other day and hug his bike, then talk to it like it was his wife while rubbing his hand all over it. That one made me go "hmmmm". I honestly didn't know how to respond to that behavior. He had a name for it too, but I forget what it was.

Well my little bx2370 from day one is named Sally. Like the song it is like my Idea of a 1964 Mustang. All I want to do is drive around Sally, drive Sally, drive.

Well its been almost a year. Lets see if we can attract some newbies.

Since I made my post of vehicle names we picked up a new 2016 VW Touareg TDI, (Diesel), for the Mrs. She had a gas model previously and said she really wanted another one. My only preferences were no sunroof and it had to be diesel. When she got behind the wheel she stepped on the pedal to go she was surprised and she said, "Whoa Nellie!". She's been Nellie ever since.

I don't have a name for the BX 1850, but "mighty-mite" is a candidate.

The L210 is "Lazarus". I had to bring it back from the dead with an engine transplant.

The International 454 is named "Santa Claus" on account of its color scheme. I need to get that in service this winter.

My white F-150 is named "Titania", and it's predecessor which went 310,000 miles was "Ford Prefect". Those names make sense if you know of Douglas Adams.

I can add to my list. I ended up with my Grandparents 2005 Buick LeSabre. My daughter drives it and has named it "Sid" after the sloth in the movie Ice Age.
'my '62 Dune Buggy is named "Speed Buggy" after the cartoon.

I've got two a BX22 with FEL/BH and B7300 with 60" mmm. Both were bequeathed to me from my neighbors.

The BX22 is 'Fred' since he was the one who used it all the time.....she wasn't allowed to use it.

The B7300 is 'Becky' cause it what her mowing tractor and he wasn't allowed to mow grass because he wouldn't mow it the way she wanted it to be mowed and it didn't look right.

When they were alive.....HIS BX22 lived at the barn and HER B7300 lived in the garage at the house.....Now they both live in my shed side by side so they can carry on their arguements with each other.

All my stuff has a name....
My daily driver gmc is 'Casper'
Her daily driver Enclave is 'Girl Bus'
My 86 Toyota 4x4 is 'Famous Frank'
My work vehicle is 'The Ghost'
My Polaris utv is 'Poppie'
The old Honda Forman is "Butt Head'
The boat is 'Butt Ugly'
The mower is just plain 'Ugly'
