haha nice I like your thinking.

So you keep your LA243 loader arms then there is a conversion for its pins to make it SSQA?

Yes - I'll post pictures when I pick it up later this week, had to have it shipped to work since it has to ship to a commercial address with a loading dock

Hmm, maybe look at a BX23S with SSQA bucket ? I know mine's 48" and has 7, 5/8" holes along the bottom edge

success!
with skypros help I found the SSQA bucket locally and picked it up, was $409.

The light duty pallet forks from Everything Attachments weigh about 238 pounds. I found light duty pallet forks from "Earth and Turf" in New Holland PA that weigh only 130 pounds. Once the EA SSQA adapter comes I will get a set from Earth and Turf. If anyone is curious they are listed as model# KSBX33U.

My SSQA bucket came off a new BX2380 the local dealer had on the lot.

I installed the EA adapter Saturday. Loader pins came out easy

Moved my toothbar from my old bucket to the new bucket. Hated to drill the two holes, but I made sure to paint the bare metal before installing the bar

for those of you thinking of doing this, a few considerations in addition. Kens hooks and BXpanded quick on hooks + brush forks will not carry over since the design is so different. The good news is, Ken has bolt on hooks for SSQA bucket and BXpanded has a new "quick on" brush fork system coming soon to the SSQA bucket.

The adapter plate from Everything attachments arrived today, took 4 days, awesome service from EA. I will prob head out to pick up the pallet forks from Earth and Turf next week.

Follow up after picking up the Earth and Turf SSQA pallet forks. These are a perfect fit for BX. Light weight, but well built. Really nicely done, and great people to work with.

Was a nice drive out to New Holland too....

How much did these cost and could you send me a link or do they need to be purchased through new holland? If so I have a dealer right down the road so if you could give me the item or part number I can have them get me a set..

Currently I am using an EXTREMELY heavy set of forks.. they are made for a tracked skid steer so you can imagine how heavy duty they are.. I weighed them with my crane scale one time and found out they weigh 325lbs! That’s a lot of lift I’m loosing! It’s a good thing I have my relief cranked to 2000psi and 400lbs is rear ballast lol.

How much does this set of forks weigh? I thought about building my own as they sell the frames on eBay and you just weld them to a coupler then buy the forks seperatly but I still think they would weigh more than the ones you have as those forks don’t look solid but more so channel steel
