Ever since I got the L3901 that seat has been very uncomfortable. I went and looked at a B3350 to see why its seat was very nice to sit in. I found the B3350 had a higher angle from back to front. The L3901 inclined down so were always kinda pushing yourself back in it.
I adjust the L seat with wedges and it nice to sit in now.

I have a rather a large hand(size 16 ring finger) so trying to get my hand on the knob was just impossible. So I removed it and matched a long bolt to its threads. Welded a chain link on top for grip. Need better pic?

Great idea! That knob is a pain. I need to do something like that.

The angle of the seat on my BX was the only real thing I didn't like about it. The seat was like yours, you had to keep pushing back with your feet to keep from sliding ahead on it.
I decided to replace the seat, and when I did I made an adapter to level out the new seat. It's like riding in my pickup now, much better.

Nice looking seat to!:D

When those were on sale I bought what turned out to be an extra one. I put it FB and sold it for $150 to a friend to put on his Grasshopper.

had the same issue with my older BX23. Kubota had a seat swap at the time and the newer version was much more comfortable and you didn't slide down the font of it.

I was able to snag one of those $49 seats from rural king this summer. It's a great seat with arm rests. I wish I could've had two when they were available for that outstanding price. Not sure what happened, but was that a website mistake when they had them listed for $49?

I bought one for $49 too, and have it as a spare. Might even see if I can get it to fit my JD430.
It had to be a pricing error, but it appears a lot of people took advantage of it.
