the next thing is to fix the the front axle leak, both sides, the dealer here give me a price of 160 € for the 6 bearings- all the seals and the 2 metal rings.
so i say to him one big NO THANKS and i went to a local part shop with the bearings and the seals in my hands, he find the parts with 42€ + 5€ to the local machine shop for the creation of 2 new rings, (not that the old was bad but i decide to make two new ones, i will post tomorrow pictures of that)

today i remove the wheel and the gears there, i think that a small amount off water had pass in, but i will clean everything tomorrow before i reassemble the shaft.

Welcome to the site!

You might consider replacing the exhaust muffler so it extends up further so you're not breathing smoke all of the time. The top of it appears to be missing. Also, whether new or old, you might also consider rotating it forward. Finally, if you leave it upright, you might consider welding a pipe on the top with a bend in it, or installing a flap so there is no chance rain could enter the cylinders. With it as it is, if it rains, the only place for the water to go is down into the cylinders. Or, just make sure to always keep the top of the exhaust covered...

Nice job so far on the repairs!

Kind regards,

Steve

Thanks for your good words
The exhaust tip was in my mind from day one, so i have found a nice piece of pipe (bigger diameter and i think he has reduce the sound a little bit) and install it already there, now all the exhaust gases go to the outside and a little up from the tractor, you can see it at this picture.

wile i was waiting at the workshop for the new rings to be fabricated i took a picture.
the next pictures are from the steering mechanism, i have create 2 soft rings one each side, because the old ones had some play, they also have a (way) in them for the grease to slide,
a picture of left wheel installed, fixed and cleaned
and the last one with the bota again on his wheels.
new gear oil, new gaskets, bearings and rings + a new amount of grease at the points and the front drive is ready for work.

(total spend: 35€ + 4 hours = happy :D kubota owner)

i had more pictures but my sister format the memory card of the camera, she thought it was with old pictures who it was already backed up.

the only photos left was from my phone. :(

new small problem from my old kubota,
i have post a video in youtube, injector bubbles

today i was cruising around just to move some things and after the work i open the hood for a fast checkup, i see bubbles of diesel coming out from the place the injector bots to the head,

this is some moments that i hate my self,

ive understand that i have to create a special tool to remove the injector without take apart half the head thinks, so tomorrow is gonna be a creation day,
hopefully the injector is going to unbolt and help me change the o-ring in there

a good and shine day today, i took out the kubota for the repair at the injector,

very easy job and everything wend smooth and clean,
i start with the dissemble, removing the metal lines and the return lines and the temp sensor.
then with a 27mm key i remove the injector, and i clean the hole from old smoke,
a new o-ring at the injector and i put everything together.

i bleed the lines and i took the beast for a small ride,
everything is perfect..

today i had a little free time and i decide to tray the new spay can that i have bought, i order it from a car specialist to much the color from my kubota engines color.

he did excellent job for only 10€ ~ 14$, i wanted this color a long of time now because i didn't like the look of my engine after i change the head gasket because i have broke the paint in the metal lines and some of the bolts.

so after a fast pressure wash i drop a little paint over the head and the diesel pump with the lines,

i decide to paint with glossy black the horn and the air filter, so everything removed and prepared for a paint.

i spay and some other wounded paint places of my small bota..

everything looks shine and good now..

i have bought a cree small led work light from e-bay and two waterproof push on/off buttons with light, so today i open the dash and cut the tape to find the place where the red wire connects. (all the red 0,5 wires were connected together as the wiring diagram shows)
i find the connection and just cut the rear work light cable, then i send it to the spare fuse that my tractor had and from there to the green button to the dash,
i change and the hazard light button,
a yellow line from the light of the hour meter went to the light of the temp-meter, and a black cable make the ground for the lights in the buttons, green light in the button is always on like the lights in the instruments, and the red blinks with the hazards.
then everything was isolated together to look like original,
sorry
for no pictures in the dash.
but here are the end result, im very impress of the work light and the light it has.
