Just a simple soil line repair. I didn't take many photos because...well...it just wasn't very interesting. I did get a kick out of catching the neighbor watching from the upper deck. Oh well.

Here goes...saw cut driveway and start digging... found it!

More digging...

H4Weng315_2.JPG

Homeowners watching carefully. I uncovered their supply line. saw it just in time to shine up the copper pipe for them to see. 😁

Loaded up..

H4Weng315_3.JPG

done... can you spot the neighbor in the last three photos? Just happy to see that she was flying Old Glory (y)

Hopefully it's late enough in the year and the Army Worms will not be an issue. Anyway, I Bushhoged last week and plan to get some seed in the ground this week.
IMG_0965.JPG

That may not look like $300 worth of seed (Wheat & Oats) and fertilizer but it is what it is.
IMG_0968.JPG

Pulled 'er out of the weeds and aired up the tires. I have some replacement disc blades and bearings but that will be another day.
IMG_0972.JPG

I would normally subsoil but the ground is wet....wet. I had to use 4wd to be able to get any cutting depth. It was cutting all of the way to the disc axles.
IMG_0974.JPG

I finished with one deer food plot and will do two more tomorrow. I'll get the seed and fertilizer in the ground either tomorrow or Friday. A Grandson will come Saturday and we will disc and plant his plots.

I finished my three deer food plots today:

John Deere was in charge of spreading the seed and fertilizer and then
IMG_0982.JPG

Big O took over and did the covering.
IMG_0984.JPG

The shadows are getting long but here is covering the last food plot.
IMG_0985.JPG

Nothing left but empty bags. I will help a Grandson plant his two food plots Saturday.

Decided to rearrange the log landing as the lower end is too muddy to drive a log truck through.
So I used log cut off cribs to build a raised skid way and moved the pile of pulp onto it and out of the way till we are done sawlog cutting.
It also gives me more room above the mud line to stack sawlogs.
I always forget the camera and done't have a phone so I will get pics when I remember to bring the darn thing :)

It was 25F at the house this morning but I used the MX to remove the 16ft x 2ft side panels from the PJ dump trailer. I don't know if I could have managed to pull them off on my own without using the tractor since they're heavy and very awkward to handle. You have to pull them straight up to clear the stake pockets which is hard to do on your own, plus did I mention that they're heavy. The BX didn't have enough loader height to do this but it's no trouble for the MX. What an awesome tractor it is!

I picked up 5.5 tons of 3/4" crush today so thought it would be a good time to remove the panels in preparation for drilling the rails. When the panels showed up at the dealer, they simply bolted the side panels to the header panel and didn't drill out the rails for the optional bolts. The panels have holes punched in them so I used them as a template to mark the hole locations along both rails and will use the mag drill to finish up.

I only wanted 3.5 tons of 3/4" crush but ended up with 5.5 tons. Quite the load but the F250 seemed to manage.

Prepped and spread 50 tons of 3/4" for a neighbor, what a beautiful autumn day to be outside

You do some amazing work with that rake. I want one, but have to prioritize at this stage in life. I have ROCKS everywhere, and that thing just looks like the bees knees for getting them collected and actually put to use. I'm a stingy old fart, and like to re-use EVERYTHING that ain't completely wore out or useless. What is that gravel, 57? Looks large.

Thank you Paint!! might be #57, 4 different suppliers here use 6 different names (3/4" minus crushed blue stone). LR1660 with hydraulic angle is prob my most used attachment. Gauge wheels and hydraulic top link make it ez. I wish I bought the 72" though, one day I may swap it out. There is something therapeutic about spreading truck loads of stone lol

You got to love those grapples. You never realize how handy one is and what you are missing until you have one. Then you find all types of uses for it. Makes the clean up easier.
Exactly! My buddy saw my pics and said, “yeah i can Do all that with my forks” i just Simply laughed and said, “ you have no idea bro”

Scored a new EA disc harrow that the farmer neighbor bought last year and wasn’t going to use. To small for his needs, still banded on shipping pallet and had been stored inside until a couple weeks ago. I told him nice disc, and he asked if I wanted to buy it before he listed it? Dah! The “warden” asked what I would use it for. I told her I can use it to roll the yard smooth every year :ROFLMAO:

Removed the backhoe for the winter and installed new quick hitch. Didn’t have it last year and what a PITA to swap implements. Guess I won’t have the 1-hr attachment swap excuse for the wife anymore 🤓

picked it up from GWT where I bought my snow pusher and tiller. Great sales and service.https://www.goodworkstractors.com/product/category-1-e-hitch-quick-hitch/

About the only difference I see in your Speeco and my cheap TowMaster (Harbor Freight) is the color of the paint. Do yourself a favor, and round off the edges of the hooks. I have a few photos to show what I did to mine in this post and this post. Made an enormous difference in the frustration factor. I'm thinking I paid a bit less for ($99) the HaulMaster than you did for the Speeco. It really does look identical other than color.

So far haven’t had any issues hooking up but I have bookmarked your thread just in case. Thanks.
