Steering left and right my front axle moves forward and back on either side sort of cat walking. I believe it is the Center Pin that is the issue. Does anyone know about replacing the center pin bushings and are they pressed in, that is, do you need a hydraulic press the get them out and back in. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Yours in tractoring, Ron

I have not done one but looking at the parts illustration, I think you could drive the old bushings out.

To install new ones, I would use a length of threaded rod and some sockets to pull the new bushings into place so you do not damage them. Perhaps even use the old bushings pressing against the new ones.

Having to remove the complete axle to put it in a press does not seem like the way to do the task.

The pin is probably worn more than the bushings.

But the bushings are not press fit in they are simply slid into the housing, they have O-rings behind them to keep the oil in the case.

Look at the parts layout on Kubota's site.

When I was rebuilding my B7200, I was going to replace the O-rings behind the bushings. However, I could not for the life of me get the bushings out. I remember on my B7100 the came out easy. Not the case on the B7200. I wonder if the are a semi-press fit?

Nope, engine stays in. You just need to jack the front end up and disconnect the axle where the steering arm connects to the linkage, then take the pin out. At least that is how I remember it.....
