Trying to find new tires for the B7000
Tractor data dot com states the front tires 5.00-12
rear tires 8-16.

Someone put summer tires on it long ago
Fronts are just 155R12
Rears are LT235/85r16

this cannot be the right combination as the front universal joint for the front axle had the splines worn off. Pinion was ok.

Sorry, I can't tell you the exact gear ratio, but the ratio of the original tires is 1:1,363. - So the gear ration will be something like 1:1,39

The ratio of the tires you've on now is 1:1.459 .
If you want to stick to the 235/85-16, you need bigger tires in the front. Like perhaps 175(/80)-12 (!:1,378) or 185/75-12 ((1:1,368).
But for both the original rim width is far to small.

Carlisle 8-16 R1 dia 31.4 x 3.14 =98.596
Star Max 5.00-12 R1 dia 22.32 x 314 = 70.084
ratio 1:1.36

Numbers for me are not coming out right ??

Just got this message from a person on ebay that had bought
front tires.

Joe,

I have a B7100 same tractor as yours with just a bit larger engine.

The correct tire ratio is 1.46 +- 5%. These new front tires measure 21.75" aired up so 21.75 x 1.46 = 31.75 x 95% = 30.17" my rear tires measure 30.5" so I'm within the 5% limit with these new tires. All the other tires I could find new were around 22.5" so too tall to match my rears.

Good luck

Now that you've found tires are you going to fix the splines so 4x4 works?

The b7100 and the B7000 are not the same ratio.
The b7100 takes larger front tires.

Still spinning my wheels trying to find the tire ratio. Have been given so many and the bad part is the rims are so small in width whatever tires I choose will not be the advertised height when mounted.

One person stated this tractor came with either 500-12 or 6-12 tires on the front as originals were Bridgestone rice paddy tires. But the Bridgestone catalog only shows the 6-12 tires for the front.

Stavros in Cyprus states they have the correct tires 500-12 and the 8-16 rear. But the shipping will be a killer
