The "Quieter HST Thread" ended up on an oil filter discussion.

So I started this thread.

I had one of these on a 1983 Nissan diesel that went 365,000 miles and I sold it running.

I bought commercial toilet paper by the case. 96 in a box, still have some!

I still have two Frantz filters in my garage. About 10-15 years ago I switched to modified Motorguard tp filters that were easier to change, and adaptable to different core diameters. These things generally take a lot of heat because many cannot imagine tp filtering oil. I took the 2 off I had on my previous L3410 before trading it in. One for fuel, the other for oil. Not much for a diesel, but I ran these filters for 1200h.
Had one on wife's gas van for over 200k, sold it at 265k. The only one I still have in use is on my 97 F150, which has low mileage at 100k.
