4-1/2 years ago i posted here a pic of my crazy lab. Today she crossed the bridge for the last time.
Back end was giving out,14 years old i think fury did very well. Was a hard day.
Got home, put her leash by the back door and opened the gate for her.
Rest in peace my old friend.

I'm sorry TJ, it is a tough time of year for an old dog when the rear end won't work right. Too much snow and ice. Hopefully where they go the sun is shining.

TJ, good to see you back posting....but not under these conditions. It's the beginning of a few sad days when one of our best pals pass on. My condolences as you grieve.

I have been lurking, tractor hasnt been giving me any issues and it gets a nice cozy place for the winter.
Still use it lots in summer. Such a handy machine.

A lot easier today,still looking for her. Expect to see her flopped on the floor in middle of dining room or a doorway.
And i checked the kennel a couple times too.

Allways a sad day when they go. One of my neighbors had to put her dog down yesterday. He had been hit by a car (not killed) and it had cut his leg up pretty bad. It got infected and never healed. The infection spread to his body and he couldn't get up. My wife cried most of the day. When she walked our dog, the other dog would come up to her and she would pet it, a VERY large great Pyrenees.

Yesterday it was 40 years ago that I lost my first dog. I still think about her all the time.
