BX23S hydro screen

Do you have to remove a rear tire to access and clean the hydro screen? And if so, what is the best way to remove a filled tire with all that weight?

Re: BX23S hydro screen

I didn't have to on my 2670, Its on the left side, I used a 12mm socket to loosen the bolt pulled the screen out and plugged the hole with a #4 plug from Amazon, only lost a couple ounces of fluid during the whole process.

I have filled tires as well and the easiest way I've found to remove them is using a furniture dolly i got from HF. I jack it up, put the dolly under the tire then lower the tractor just a little until the cart takes the weight of the tire, then just roll it out. then just reverse the process putting it back on.

Thank you, I have just the set up with a HF furniture dolly already in house. Will give it a shot.
