The only things I need to move are a tow-behind generator (made from and old light tower) and a small DIY utility trailer. They need moved occasionally when mowing. The ball on the mower works fine for that.
A receiver on the FEL bucket comes in handy. Although it hasn't been used much for moving things, it has been used to hold stuff to work on by inserting a piece of 2x2 square tube. Also used it as a mount for a small winch (redneck crane). The old A/C compressor in the picture was picked out of a stairwell at church.

If I had something heavy to tow/move, it would be via the drawbar - the real drawbar that goes into the factory receiver under the rear of the tractor. No worries about that deciding to go skyward if something bad happens with the trailer.
