Good Morning,
I am about to pull the trigger on my first tractor. Narrowed it to a somewhat high hour L 3301. Has a rake, tooth bar. Larger 700 loader, 3pt finish mower, belly mower[ not really interested in using] a ripper and 40 gallon sprayer. Hours 2100. A horse farm supposedly put the first 1900 hours on it. The 3 pt finish mower is a bit bent, telling me this owner is all that careful. I'm visiting again today to check the look of fluids and turn the engine service light off and see if it pops back on. $12000 . Any other thoughts. Decent price? Can I turn it at that price if it's not the right machine for me this summer? Any help is appreciated.

There is a lot of things that don’t add up here??? Especially the loader and belly mower. The basic L series don’t have mid PTO for a belly mower.

i don't know your projected uses for the tractor so I won't comment on that. The engine service light is a serious point of concern. Why is it on in the first place? You could be potentially looking at several thousand to repair it. I didn't know any members of the Lxx01 series had a mid PTO. I'm new at this, though.

That was a good series of tractor, lots of options.
The engine service light on this model, If I remember right, is just a time reminder, it's really not tied into anything to indicate a real fault.
