Had the AC CA Out today

Took the 1955 Allis Chalmers CA out of winter hibernation today.

I was pleasantly surprised. When I put it away I turned the gas off and ran the carb dry and left he tank almost empty.
So today I put the battery back in, turned the gas valve on and hit the starter rod by accident and it didn't even make a revolution and it fired and idled!
I love old technology.

Only thing I don't like is the PITA Marvel Schibler updraft carb. What engineering junk.

Those are about the only tools I need to work on my 1982 MB 240D sedan
