I have a BX25D that has rear hydraulics for the backhoe. Has anyone successfully utilized the existing rear hydraulic connections to drive the top link? I have never tried fabrication of hydraulics but am certainly willing to try. I assume hoses could run to a spool to control the link with lines then run to the top link. Quick connects would seem to be the best set up to make it remove able when I need to reinstall the backhoe. I can weld up a bracket to mount the valve and guide the feed and return lines. Thoughts or guidance?

i have a top link o my BX23S that works this way.

I have a top link ram as per normal.
Mounted on top of the ram is a spool valve. (Open centre with power beyond)
The A&B connections on the spool go to the ram.
The remaining connections go to the backhoe connections.

I wil get you some pics tomorrow

Here are some pics of the setup on my BX23S-AU.

Should be the same for the BX25

Awesome tool! Did you build this or was it off the shelf? I have a BX25D that it would look nice on.

I built it myself

I purchased a top link ram then a spool valve
The spool is an open centre with power beyond.
To mount the spool to the ram I used a scrap piece of 50x50 RHS (2in x 2in)
I put that in the press and bent in one side to curve it.
I ten welded a plate on the other side and slotted the sides.
This then attaches to the ram using a pair of hose clamps. You can see this in the second pic.
The spool then bolts onto to the plate
Last was to have some 1/4 in lines made up to suit

You could also use a dual spool rather than the single that I used. A dual spool would allow a tilt as well. Didn't do tat that as I dont need it
