I did a search and couldn't find this subject.

What I would like to know, (and I'm sure people considering buying a Kubota), is how many hours do you have on your tractor and what major issues have you had along the way.

My M4900 has 850 hours on it. I bought it two years ago with 639 hours. The model was built from 2001-08. I haven't checked yet with the dealer that I bought it from to determine the model year. I am the second owner. My local dealer sold it both times. The tractor was there on consignment. I bought it as is with a bad alternator and replaced it myself. When I got it home I did a complete service. Everything works. The only trouble that I have had has been hydraulic hoses. I have had to replace three so far. The last one sprung a leak while cutting grass and I now have some ribbons of dead grass in the yard. I am now on a schedule of replacing a hose every two weeks so I can hopefully avoid future trouble. It could use some rear tires at some point but not an immediate need. Other than that it has been great.

I've got various tractors/mowers with various hours. Most is around 1200 hours. Average homeowner uses mower about 50 hr/yr. Additional hours add up from other tractor work.

If you had an ag size tractor used for field work hours could easily be above 8-10K after similar amount of years.

My MX-5100 has just over 400 hours. Bought new in 2010.

Oh, it has not had any major issues at all. Just broke the 3 point stabilizers a few times. BTW they aren't cheap.

My L4701 has 43 hrs, bought new in December 2016. Have not had any issues other than a hydraulic leak at a loose flange on the pump. Replaced O ring and it's been good since.

My '83 B7100 just rolled 2703 hrs. I have no clue how many previous owners there were, and naturally, the previous owner had "zero" issues with it. At 2689 hrs, I had to change the head gasket, due to a broken head bolt/overheating issue. Other than that, and some really annoying electrical gremlins that I've sorted, it's been great! Bought it at 2611 hrs.

My 1977, B7100 had 2200 hours on it when I purchased it, but the hour meter was not working, so no idea how many hours are really on it. It runs great though!!

My 2014 L3560HSTC had just shy of 300 hrs. The only problems I have had are the first winter, the heater didn't work, which is why I bought a cab tractor. Turns out, the hose line going up the column was folded and had to be replaced. The only other problems were dealer created when I had the BH-92 put on. There were 3 problems that they corrected and now all is good.

My BX24 was brought new in 2009. It has 552 hours on it. So far the only problems, one o-ring failed in the front end loader joystick last year and the pedals for the forward and reverse have been sticking and failing to return completely to the neutral positions. One day I'll lube it and free it up. The headlight mounting in the plastic hood broke. It still runs well.

L3901, 2015 L3901 123 hours.

2 feet of snow this year really pushed my hours up, clocked over 16+ hours in 2 days. The tractor loved every minute of moving snow. :p

No major issues.

I have a 2012 L4600DT, bought used last year with 178 hours on it.

Rolled over 223 yesterday while working in the garden.

No problems at all.

Take care of them, service as suggested by mfr and they will last a long time.

My uncle has a 2003 L3400 with around 1200 hrs on it and no real problems. Seat safety switch had to be replaced.

My 2015 L3901 has 382 hours on it. Mostly from pulling a box blade or landscape rake on our half mile road.
Get a road grader to pull behind it and save yourself tons of time. It used to take me days to fix my road, not I can literally fix it in a hour. Mine has the heavy duty mount to the 3 point and has 2 angled blades. It will never go back to using a box blade to fix a road again.

I am the second owner of my 1994 B7100. I bought it from my uncle with 936 hours on the clock. Then I noticed that the HST filter he changed a year before had "936" written on it in magic marker.

He had a crank bearing go bad 2 years prior and his mechanic replaced the engine with a low-hours used motor. He doesn't remember exactly how many hours is "low". There were some stripped out threads on various frame mounting points, the clutch didn't work due to bent linkage, one of the steering arm links was similarly bent and the front mount blower was rusted to lacework. Clock, threads and linkages were all pretty simple repairs. The blower was a winter project (it also came with a rear-mount blower so there was no rush).

The clock still works and now shows over 1100 hours, so it will be close to 200 hours when my first year of ownership is up.

2016 L3560 with 4 hours; my only frustration is that it's not Saturday EVERY day. All kidding aside I love this forum and learn something every day.

I use to love to listen to HD riders asking about how many miles can I put on it a year,,,And I will tell you as I told them,, my friend use it ride and dont worry about the hours or miles. Unless of course your planing on trading it in, and move up or just get a new one,, run the wheels of it, take care of it and dont worry about how many hours of fun you have on it..errrrr I meant hours of work yeah thats it work. My BX is 5 years old, and almost 450 hours, and to date nothing major, now if you want to talk about the dumb things thats a different thread :D Do the maintenance and move on, you will have wear items, tires and oil and filters and such, but take care of her and she will love you for it,, that goes for your lovely bride too

I have a 94 B7100HST that I bought new spring of 95. Has 925hrs on it. Only real problem was a leaking fuel cell that I replaced $85 at around 600 hrs. 3-4 batteries, couple flats and that's about all. 60" belly mower still has original belt as is the alternator belt and radiator hoses. Just pulled regular maintenance every year completed by me. Used mostly for mowing. Has been a pleasure to own this one.

My 1994 B7100 had 600hrs on it when I bought it and 1500+ when I sold it...never had a single problem with it. My 1998 b2400 was bought with 850 hrs and was sold with 1800 on it. I had a lot of problems with the axle pivot o-ring on the bi speed side, but other than that, not a single problem. My 2016 B2650 was purchased new last Sept and now has 90 hrs on it...so far, so good!!

94 B7100-had 652 hours when I bought it last year. Now has 743 hours, no problems. Don't think the original owner ever had a problem. Got a smoking deal on the tractor with mmm, a 16 foot trailer, and almost new Woods 4 foot brush hog for $2400.00. Did have to replace the original blades on the mmm.

96 L2350-bought new in 96. Has 748 hours. No problems. Never been in the shop. Still has the original tires.

17 L2501-18 hours. Just a small hydraulic leak at one of the fel hoses. Fixed.
