Hi guys I just bought a Kabota b7100d hst The tractor had some problems when I bought it

I was thinking its just needed a clutch but Im not too sure how do you verify that the clutch is bad

all of the hydraulics work Front loader and the three point hitch in the back

The tractor does move forward but it slips

Here are some pictures of the tractor

Question one

Where do I start

Re: B7100d hst 4wd repair questions

Pull the center cover you can see the propeller shaft from the clutch to the HST.

If when you try to move the tractor the shaft slows or quits spinning clutch is shot, if the shaft keeps spinning yet it won't move then HST issue.

OK...
That a B7100DT (Geared)
Not a B7100HSTD (Hydrostat)

Someone has swapped the hoods!

If it's slipping it's a fried clutch... no other real option. :(
