I've had the BX for a couple of months now and have had a suspicion for awhile. Tonight I confirmed my suspicion.

My hour meter advances one hour for every 46 minutes the tractor is running. The hour meter on my L is dead on.

Looked in the WSM and on page 8-46 it gives a brief description of how to check the hour meter. I did this and everything checks fine.

Does anyone know if the thing can be calibrated by the dealer with a computer or something?

Would kind of like to know before I call them tomorrow.

Thanks for any help.

I'll be verifying mine as soon as I can. I've been suspicious of this but haven't thought of how to verify while working. What method do you use?

My method was ultra high tech.:D Three hours of spraying with a stopwatch on my wrist. After three hours run time, the meter advanced nearly four hours.

Dealer said they would replace it. Didn't ask any questions so I'm guessing this isn't their first. They had to order part.
