Great job! The old L185DT never ceased to amaze me with what it could do.

I surely agree on both Hodge's stabilizer bars, and the pine straw rake! If you have pine needles, the rake gets about 99+% of them in a single pass. Also great for stirring up the gravel on the driveway before winter freezes it.

You can get a decent price from Bingham, on EBAY. The pin-on bucket is a 60" for that tractor, the QA is a 66". Generally you want the bucket to be as wide or a bit wider than the tractor wheel width. Unless you are really spread out wide, either bucket should work. The pin-on is a bit more...

I wouldn't worry at all with that tractor and a 72" mower. The nice thing about HST is you can slow down just a bit if the tractor bogs down, which it probably won't.

You may want to measure from the hinge pivot of the hood up by the gas tank, down to the front lip of the hood, and to the bolt holes of the guard mounting plate. Compare those to the same dimensions on an L3200/3800 and the dimensions of an L3301/3901. I'd think one of them should fit.

I'd rather ask "How tuff is a finish mower?? Pretty darn tuff, and you get a nice lawn where you want it. I'd never use my brush hog on the lawn. It would be a mess.

Probably depends on your soil. I use an old 40" Howard Rotovator behind my L3200DT. In some places it is all the tractor can do to keep it turning in low gear! Another 20" would be too much in those places. I'd be thinking about 48" or maybe 54"

Cement blocks are the most common. You can use rocks, bags of sand, scrap iron - anything heavy you can tie on to it.

It sounds like you can do it all with the loader and grading scraper. And for the 1000' driveway, the scraper is the way to go! Enjoy that tractor - its a nice one.
