How far do you travel on your tractor?

Its my buddies' parents property. His dad is in poor health and can't take care of anything. The father was a big car guy so he has all kinds of tranmissions, engine blocks, heavy metal mostly laying around that he needs help with. I suggested he get a metal dumpster brought out and we could...

How far do you travel on your tractor?

A buddy is wanting me to help him move some stuff at his parents barn with my tractor, and maybe do some bush hogging. I don't have a full size truck, could borrow one, don't have a trailer, again could borrow one. Alot of hassle though. They live 7 miles away and we live in a rural area. I...

Bad seal on brush hog gearbox?

MY bush hog sat for several years. When i got back into it, I cleaned it up and changed the gear oil out of the gearbox, but now this is happening. Is this a bad seal? How do i go about repairing it?

    Plastic in the fuel tank

Didn't know those existed, but totally worth it. Gas cans are always getting a little water or debris in them. I'll pick up a diesel and gas one. Thanks for the idea

    Plastic in the fuel tank

I tend to agree with you. Its a brand new 35,000 dollar machine. I ordered a camera light endoscope that was not too expensive and will be here tomorrow. I can wait a couple days for piece of mind.

    Plastic in the fuel tank

So I think I just made a very timing consuming to fix oops. While refueling my tractor with a 5 gallon can, a plastic piece snapped off, had something to do with the air intake breather on the new type plastic cans, anyways it fell off and as my luck would have it, it fell into the tank. I have...

    Recommendations on post hole digger

Can someone tell me what size auger you need for a 6 inch post?

    Recommendations on post hole digger

Good point, i have rocky sandy loam type soil. pretty rocky actually. Depth is depending on if I'm doing trellis posts which would probably be a 9 inch auger, but for grapes i'm thinking an 18 inch auger would be appropriate to get the soil loosened up for root esablishment.

    Recommendations on post hole digger

I'm going to need to drill alot of holes this fall, looking for a recommendation on brand, etc. I probably need a couple different augers, 9 inch and 18 inch probably. After shopping i see there is quite a variation in price. Any brands better or worse than others? Thanks

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

After bush hogging for 4 hours, why not, yes I did pressure wash my tractor. If only I had a 55 gallon drum of armor all for the tires. 😂

Having a hard time getting attachments on

I thought about trying that, part of the issue is getting leverage to push it on is a bit difficult when the bush hog is already attached. Ill try your idea next time.

Having a hard time getting attachments on

Hey, so new tractor, old(15 years+) attachments. I’m having a really hard time getting attachments onto my pto. I greased everything up good, used a wire brush to clean it before hand, but things just aren’t sliding on there. Any advice?
